Catlin Donnelly
Catlin brings expertise in strategic planning, change management, organizational and community dynamics, and finding and recruiting exceptional talent to best position an organization for the future. She has over 15 years of hands-on and leadership roles in the not-for-profit and government sectors. Catlin’s work is grounded in a strong commitment to community-oriented and mission-driven organizations, which has expressed itself from the beginning of her career in advocacy and program development roles, including starting programs in communities in New York City and the Bronx related to education for special needs children and directing a group home for juvenile delinquents.
Catlin is a superb facilitator, with a keen ability to assess complicated organizational issues and develop strategies to overcome those challenges. Her ability to match candidates' skills and experience with an organization's current and future needs has led to longevity in placements. Her creation of trusting client relationships and skillful coaching and advising of Boards of Directors and senior level managers around issues of organizational development, change, and human resources results in an organization's positive movement forward to meet changing needs and more competitive environments. Word-of-mouth referrals and repeat business attest to the high quality of expertise she brings to her clients and the impact she has on an organization.
Catlin earned a BA in Psychology from Hollins College and a Master of Social Work from Tulane University. She has participated in the Senior Managers in State Government Program at Harvard's Kennedy School of Government. Active in the community, Catlin serves on grant review panels, advisory boards and committees for not-for-profit organizations, and engages in teaching and leading training sessions for a diversity of organizations. Janet Baker
Janet has more than 20 years experience in helping organizations to manage change. Whether as a senior manager, small business owner or management consultant to non-profit organizations, Janet excels at putting in place processes that help to solve complex problems. As a management consultant, her past clients include large health care organizations, colleges and universities, and community based not-for profits. Prior to consulting, Janet served in progressively responsible public sector positions including Deputy Administrative Manager of a large public works project, where she oversaw job training programs for women, minorities and economically disadvantaged individuals. Janet holds a BA from Connecticut College and an MBA from Simmons School of Management.
Erica Beade
Erica Beade provides administrative support on all consulting engagements. She has more than 13 years experience providing administrative and logistical support to senior faculty and research groups for the Howard Hughes Medical Institute and MIT. At HHMI/MIT, she was responsible for the smooth running of faculty offices and laboratories, served as a liaison between faculty, technical staff and students, and coordinated federal grant applications. Erica also has extensive experience as a scientific illustrator and educator. She holds a BA from Wesleyan University.
Walter Holmes
Walter Holmes is a management consultant specializing in organizational development, executive search, human resources, operational analysis, facilities management and coaching. His clients include many universities and public institutions. Walter has broad senior management experience, having served as Vice President for Administration at Brown University, Deputy General Manager of the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority, and Deputy Commissioner at the MA Department of Public Welfare. Walter earned his MPA at Suffolk University's Graduate School of Management and has a BS from Northeastern University's College of Business Administration.
Jinevra Howard
Jinevra Howard has a Bachelor of Science and a Master of City Planning from the Department of Urban Studies and Planning at MIT. Through her work with Economic Development Research Group, she has provided analytic and communications support for clients including the Appalachian Regional Commission, the Lincoln Center, Logan Airport, and the MetroWest Chamber of Commerce. Jinevra also worked for Initiative for a Competitive Inner City, a nonprofit research and consulting firm dedicated to stimulating private sector investment in U.S. inner cities, and in administrative roles for the Harvard School of Public Health and Massachusetts General Hospital's Center for the Integration of Medicine and Innovative Technology.
Robin Lipson
Robin Lipson has more than 25 years public and private sector experience in the health care domain. Most of her practice involves working in close partnership with CEOs, senior leaders, and boards of directors to facilitate strategic planning, organizational development and succession processes. She has been engaged repeatedly by the Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts Foundation, Partners HealthCare, Community Catalyst, and the American Cancer Society. Prior to developing her independent practice, she served in key leadership roles including the first-ever Vice President of Strategic Planning for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts, Managing Director for Solomont Bailis Consulting, a subsidiary of a cutting-edge elder care firm, and Deputy Director of the Massachusetts Medicaid program under Governor Michael Dukakis. Robin has a BA from Connecticut College and a MBA in health care management from Boston University. Robin's professional experience is augmented by leadership roles she has played in the community. She served as President of Hospice Care Inc., which, under her leadership, became the largest hospice in Eastern Massachusetts and a subsidiary of the Visiting Nurse Association of Boston and also served as an Executive Committee member and Vice President of Board Development for the Lexington Education Foundation.
Evelyn McKay
Evelyn McKay provides research and technology services for the team. Previously, Evelyn managed professional teams and complex projects as a technical documentation manager at several software companies, including Lotus Development Corporation and Rational Software, both now owned by IBM. At IBM, Evelyn worked as a Program Manager providing research, writing, and operational services for an IT department. Evelyn started her career teaching children in the US, the UK, and the [then] USSR. She has a BA in Education from Moray House College, University of Edinburgh.
Lyn Rosoff
Lyn Rosoff is an advertising and marketing professional, providing marketing and strategic communications training and coaching services to help clients effectively define their brands and communicate clearly in a cluttered and crowded marketplace. Past clients have included CATCH Neighborhood Housing, SmartPower, World Team Sports, the John Merck Fund, and the Clean Energy States Alliance. Lyn worked for 18 years at Arnold Worldwide, where she served as Senior Vice President with clients including Blue Cross Blue Shield and the United Way. Lyn also provides executive coaching and workshops to improve communication and team-building. She has served as Chair of the Board of Directors of Greater Boston Food Bank, and as Vice President of the Board of Directors of United Way of the Greater Seacoast, among other involvements.
Shira Simon
Shira Simon is a joint MD/MBA candidate at Harvard Medical and Harvard Business Schools. Prior to entering graduate school, she was a Business Analyst for three years with McKinsey and Company, a global management consulting firm, focusing primarily on healthcare in both the public and private sectors. Shira has worked with major healthcare insurance providers, medical device and pharmaceutical companies, hospitals, and healthcare NGOs around the world. She graduated with honors from Harvard College in 2004.
Hampton Watkins
Hampton has more than 25 years of experience in the telecommunications industry where he has managed large sales consulting and engineering teams. He has led large groups of technical professionals through merger, acquisitions, and one of the largest bankruptcies on record. In several capacities he has developed, sold, and delivered business solutions to corporate technology leaders. He brings to E. C. Donnelly & Associates a wealth of analytical skills, and he participates in our technical recruitment and strategic consulting engagements with special emphasis on corporate technical and business governance issues. Hampton earned a BS in Chemistry from Tulane University, an SM and PhD in Planetary Sciences from MIT, completed a post-doctoral fellowship at the University of Arizona, and served on the staff at Brown University prior to his engagement in corporate business activities.
